How it works

  1. Save your essentials. Create an account, choose a PIN and a spoken passphrase, then add trusted contacts and the details you'd miss most without your phone.
  2. Call from any phone. Call OperatorDirect, key in the phone number on your account and your PIN, then say your passphrase.
  3. Take the next step. Ask in your own words. Your AI assistant can read your saved details, draft a message or connect you to a saved number. You approve messages and connections.

What a call sounds like

  1. AI operator

Thanks, Sam, you're verified. How can I help?

  2. You

I lost my phone and wallet. I need to tell my sister and cancel my debit card.

  3. AI operator

I can text Ana, and I have your bank's lost-card line saved. Which first?

  4. You

    Text Ana.

  5. AI operator

Here's the message to Ana: "Sam lost their phone and wallet. They're safe and calling from a borrowed phone. Call this number if you can." Send it?

  6. You

    Yes.

  7. AI operator

Sent. Ready to connect you to your bank's lost-card line, or I can read the number out first.

An AI assistant that knows your essentials

Your saved contacts, travel plans and important information, available through a conversation.

Reach someone you trust

Ask the assistant to text or email a saved contact. It reads the message back and sends it only after you say yes.

Your details, read aloud

Hear your bank's lost-card line, hotel address or booking confirmation on request. Ask for what you need in your own words.

Know what to do next

Get clear steps for reporting a lost card or replacing your phone, or ask to be connected to a number you've saved.

How we protect you

Up to four layers stand between a caller and your information, and every action needs your say-so.

  1. Your number and PIN

Enter your PIN on the keypad so it never has to be spoken aloud. It is stored hashed and never in plain text.

  2. Your spoken passphrase

Something only you know. Repeated wrong guesses lock the line and alert you by email and text. If you call back from the same number just after verifying, the PIN alone is enough.

  3. Your vault word

Only when it matters: extra-sensitive details such as carrier PINs and ID numbers stay out of the conversation until you ask and say your vault word.

  4. Your say-so for every action

The assistant reads a message back, or names the person it will connect, and waits for a clear “yes” before it acts.

Common questions

Is the operator a real person?

No. Your operator is an AI assistant, not a human. It uses your saved information to help you find details, send messages and connect calls with your confirmation.

What do I need when I call?

The phone number on your account, your PIN and your spoken passphrase. You enter the number and PIN on the keypad, then say the passphrase after the tone. Step-by-step calling guide

What if I forget my PIN or passphrase?

Sign in to the website with your account password, open Line in your Emergency Kit and set a new one. Trouble getting in?

What if someone guesses my PIN?

They'd still need your spoken passphrase. Repeated failed attempts lock your phone line for a while and alert you by email and text. You can also lock the line yourself at any time from your Emergency Kit.

Can the assistant act without me?

No. It reads every message back and sends only after you say yes, and it only connects calls you ask for. It can't make payments or move money.

Is this an emergency service?

No. If you're in danger, call 911 in the US or 112 in Europe. OperatorDirect is for the hours after, when you need to reach your people and your saved details.
