Everything OperatorDirect can do
Your operator is an AI assistant, not a human.
Prepare once, then call from any phone when yours is lost, stolen or out of reach.
The phone line
- Works from any phone. Dial the line, enter your account number and PIN, then say your passphrase. No app and no internet needed.
- An AI assistant that knows your details. Ask in plain words, such as “What's my bank's lost-card number?”, and it answers from what you saved.
- Keypad shortcuts. Reach contacts, bank, travel and carrier numbers with a key press, without the assistant.
- Repeat, slow down, write it down. Numbers can be spelled out digit by digit, and the assistant waits while you find a pen.
- Emergency numbers on hand. Local emergency numbers by country, the card networks' lost-card lines, and the US State Department's line for citizens abroad, even if you didn't save them.
- Travel emergency brief. Cancelled flight or stranded? The assistant walks through your saved itinerary one step at a time: where to go, who to call, what to say.
- Hold and resume. Put the assistant on hold during a call and pick up where you left off.
Reach people
- Text or email a trusted contact. The assistant drafts the message, reads it back and sends it only after you say yes.
- Connect or transfer a call. Reach a saved contact, your bank or your carrier without dialing from memory.
- Try your trusted contacts in turn. Ask it to keep dialing your pinned contacts, then the rest, until someone picks up and presses 1.
- Conference a contact in. Bring someone you trust into the call.
- Voicemail. Leave a message for yourself or have one waiting when you regain access.
- Get it in writing. Text a saved number or address to the phone you're using, or email a list of items to yourself. Neither includes PINs, account numbers or medical details.
- Thank whoever lent you their phone. Save a reminder, and send a thank-you text only if they agree.
Your Help Kit
A private dashboard where you save what you'd want if your phone or wallet disappeared.
- Trusted contacts, with who to notify and how.
- Banks and cards, with lost-card numbers.
- Health and ID details, and carrier and phone-insurance information.
- Travel plans, hotel addresses and booking confirmations.
- Vehicles, doctors, pharmacies and other useful contacts.
- Family sharing, to share chosen entries with your household.
- Secure notes for everything else.
Get back on track
- Replace your phone. A step-by-step plan for lost, stolen, broken or upgraded phones, built from your saved carrier and insurance details.
- Get me home. Find a pickup spot and quote a ride, and cancel or check status, all by voice.
- First steps. Guidance on reporting a lost card or wallet.
- Wallet card. Print the number and calling steps to keep on you.
- Chat instead of calling. Ask the same assistant questions in the Help Kit's Chat tab when you're signed in on a computer.
- Backup and import. Download a copy of your Help Kit, or fill in a template and upload it.
Built to be safe
- Three separate secrets. Website password, phone PIN and spoken passphrase.
- Encrypted details. Sensitive fields use AES-256 encryption. PINs and passwords are hashed.
- Vault word. Extra-sensitive fields, such as a carrier PIN, need a second spoken word.
- Lockout and alerts. Repeated failed attempts lock the line and notify you by email and text.
- Your yes comes first. Messages and calls happen only after you clearly confirm. The assistant can't make payments or move money.
- Activity log. Review every call and account change.
